I’m Syaiful, a lawyer based in Kota Kinabalu who loves contact sports like football and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

My journey with Ooosh!™ began when I saw an Instagram ad featuring my friend, Nizam. Curious, I asked him about his hair loss, the Ooosh!™ treatment, and his personal experience of the effects and results of the treatment. Fast forward a few weeks after, I met up with him and saw his hair looking much fuller than before.

Before Ooosh!™, I never really believed in hair regrowth solutions. I’ve tried alternatives in salons but it didn’t work, and I’ve tried laser but that gave me a negative side effect. At 37, I’m pragmatically aware of genetics—my father and many relatives are bald—so I’ve psychologically prepared myself for the fact that I could be bald one day. Because of this psychological state, my hair loss never really affected me much. However, one day after jiu-jitsu training, I noticed hairs on the mat and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror—only then did I realize my hair was thinning rapidly.

So, after my encounter with Nizam, I figured—if an affordable solution exists, why not try it? Nizam also mentioned that one of the guys at Ooosh!™ was Abel, who happened to be a friend of mine—we used to play futsal together. So I dropped Abel a text and went for a first trial.

During the trial, they told me that my hair could be saved. I was pleasantly surprised, as I thought it was beyond repair because it had thinned quite badly.

If I were to rate how important hair is to me, on a scale of one to ten—one being the least and ten being extremely important—I’d say it’s a six or seven. My hair matters to me mostly for practical reasons. I’m a pragmatic, logical person. I play football under the hot sun, and I want hair to naturally protect my scalp from UV rays.

Some people want to regrow hair to feel more confident. For me, I just didn’t want to look like an egg (laughs). That’s also why I have a beard—it’s my contingency plan in case I go bald. On top of that, I want to look presentable in my three-piece suit. As a lawyer, I wear suits to court all the time.

Six months after starting the Ooosh!™ Hair Regrowth Solution, my hair improved significantly—and I’m very happy about it. I’m getting married in November this year. Before Ooosh!™, I considered wearing a Peaky Blinders hat to my wedding if my hair kept thinning. But since it has grown back, I don’t need to! Even my fiancée has started treatments at Ooosh!™—she wants to look good for our wedding too.

Now, no one’s commenting about my hair loss anymore. Friends who knew me and saw me everyday noticed the change in my hair. They said, “Wow, it actually works!” During Chinese New Year, uncles and aunties no longer come to me commenting about my hair loss—in fact, they noticed how it’s grown back!

I used to wear a hat but stopped when my hair got thinner because my mother insisted it was making it worse (though that’s not scientifically proven—haha). Now that my hair has regrown, I feel more comfortable wearing a hat again.

Ooosh!™ also taught me to take better care of my scalp. I now follow a proper regime—shampooing and massaging my head for at least a minute. Before this, I’d shampoo and rinse it off in 30 seconds.

This whole experience has made me more mindful of self-care. As men, we often overlook this. Ooosh!™ helped me become more aware of the importance of not just hygiene but proper scalp and hair health too.

To those going through hair loss—if it’s affecting your personal life or career—and if you, like me, look like an egghead when bald, consider getting hair regrowth treatment. Don’t wait. I waited for three years before I started doing something—I couldn’t do much then due to COVID and lockdowns. My hair loss got so bad that I contemplated going bald. If your hair loss is affecting you, get treatment immediately and don’t wait until the last minute—because the longer you wait, the more it will cost you.

I believe that in every man, there’s still a kid in you. And the kid in you will shout, “I want to look like so and so when I get to that age!” The kid in me shouts, “I want to be Daniel Craig when I’m 50 years old!” (Laughs). Never lose the kid in you, regardless of your age—never lose that hope inside you.

As a lawyer who also handles divorce cases, I’ve observed that mid-life crises often occur when men begin to lose confidence. When that happens, they tend to take things for granted and start caring less—about themselves, their relationships, and their goals. But when we invest time in taking care of ourselves, looking good, and, in essence, pursuing the version of the man we aspired to be as kids, it keeps us on our toes—and your woman, too—and this brings more happiness to the family.

Even now, I still want to be Daniel Craig when I’m 50! And to achieve that, I need to do what I need to do—that includes regrowing my hair.

If you’re experiencing hair loss, take heart—there are many alternatives out there, and it often comes down to trial, error, and empirical data. In my experience, the data shows that many people who’ve tried Ooosh!™ have experienced successful hair regrowth. I’m one of them, as is Nizam, along with many other lawyers I know. So if you’re looking for a reliable solution, I’d suggest giving Ooosh!™ a try.

I believe that we only live once.

How does this belief impact what I do with my hair? Well, I only live once, that’s why I decided to take a leap of faith and go to Ooosh!™.

My name is Syaiful, and this is my Ooosh!™ story.
