My name is Angeline Johnny. Many people confuse my name with Angelina Jolie because they sound quite similar! I’m 56 years old and currently working for a local company involved in retail and hospitality. My job mainly consists of paperwork and office tasks.

Over the years, I have faced several health challenges, which have made me more conscious about self-care and overall well-being. These experiences taught me to stay positive, appreciate life, and take care of myself inside and out.

One thing I’ve always valued is beauty and confidence, and for me, that includes taking care of my hair. When I was young, I had no issues with hair loss—I always had long, healthy hair. But after having my second child at 26, I started experiencing hair thinning. Back then, I used hair tonics to maintain my hair health.

As time went on, balancing work, family, and health meant that I sometimes neglected my hair. When I was in my 40s, I noticed my hair loss becoming more pronounced. I often tied or clipped my hair up to hide the thinning areas, and honestly, it affected my confidence. I felt like I couldn’t style my hair the way I used to, and I became self-conscious when taking photos.

Then, as I was nearing 45, I experienced further hair loss due to the toll of medical treatments and lifestyle adjustments. My diet changed, and my body was adapting to various health factors. I realized that my hair needed extra care, just like the rest of my body.

That was also when I was introduced to Ooosh!™.  Annie (my sister, manager of Ooosh!™ Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia) started working here and she encouraged me to try their treatment. At first, I was skeptical—I even asked her, “Does it really work?” But I decided to give it a try.

For the first three months, I didn’t see much change, but the experience itself was refreshing. Coming for treatment gave me peace of mind, knowing that I was doing something positive for my hair. Then, in the fifth month, the therapists noticed baby hairs growing! That was when I truly believed in the process.

I’ve come to understand that consistency is key. There were times when I got busy and missed my treatments for a month. When I returned, my therapist noticed an increased hair fall while washing my hair. That made me realize that maintaining strong hair requires continuous care, just like tending to a growing plant—it needs nourishment and attention.

I’ve been with Ooosh!™ for eight months now, and I can confidently say that I see progress. The best part is that the treatment is non-invasive, natural, and done professionally. It’s reassuring for people like me, who have medical considerations and prefer a treatment that works without needing supplements. Even without taking the supplements, I still see results—just at a gradual pace.

For ladies around my age, hair thinning and loss can be common due to hormonal changes, stress, and diet. If you’re worried, I’d say don’t be discouraged. The key is to take action. Some might worry, “What if there are no results?” But I can confidently say there will be results—you just need to be patient and consistent.

I also love that I get to spend time with my sister, Annie, whenever I visit Ooosh!™. We have lunch together after my treatments, and it’s something I always look forward to. The atmosphere at Ooosh!™ is cozy and peaceful—unlike noisy salons, this place feels like a spa.

Not everyone can afford this kind of luxury, but if you have the opportunity, why not enjoy it? I believe in appreciating everything we have, and I’m grateful for the care and results I’ve seen with Ooosh!™.

To those experiencing hair loss, I encourage you to seek treatment. Of course, I’d say go to Ooosh!™ (laughs), but ultimately, find something that fits your budget and needs. If you can afford the best, go for it—because life is short.

Take care of yourself, be confident, and always keep going. Challenges will come, but never give up—whether it’s about hair or life in general. Stay strong and embrace the journey.

My name is Angeline, and I believe that we should never give up, no matter what. And this is my Ooosh!™ story.
